after staying up till 2 im awakend by my dad at 8...hes pissed cause i didnt cancel an appointment or something...yeah right away i knew this was going to be a crappy day...so what i ended up doing the majority of the day was work on my moms benz and my accord...i felt tired the whole day but was forced to work in the garage...whenever my dads mad hes got to put me to work...damn i hate it...well i thought i would put the time to good use so i read the "chilton" on my car..."chilton" is a do it yourself manual for your car...it tells you everything about your car, from engine to electrical...if you ever want to learn about your car go out and get one...

because of my dads mood my plans of going to todais were shot down...i had to go to this fob bday party for someone i didnt even know...i couldnt leave for two hours...and i had to listen to karaoke the whole time cause there was nothing else i could do...if any more time elapsed i would have strangled myself with the mic cord...as you can tell i didnt want to be there...

when i finally did go home i gave jerome a call...he was with glenn and mark at todais...they were still stuffing themselves when i called so i met up with them later...we ended up all going back to glenns house for another movie...this time it was "passions of mind"...demi moore...new release that i never heard of but it turned out to be a real good psychological movie...after the movie we stayed up till 4 in the morn playing this game called "worms" on playstation...basically you have a team of worms and you want to kill off the other teams of worms against you...simple yet highly addictive...

after my class this morning i come home glad that its friday...i have nothing to do in the morning so i decide to watch billy madison...one of adam sandlers first flicks and i must same pretty damn funny...im not sure if all of you out there have watched it but the general story is he's basically going through grades 1 through 12 all over again...if you like adam sandler movies you gotta watch this one...anyways as im watching the movie i the doorbell rings...when i open it up its my good friends glenn and randy...glenn works up in frisco selling cell phone accessories and etc...he came down for the weekend cause hes turning the big 20...

well the plan for tonight is to eat at todais...its an all you can eat japanese restaurant...they have all types of food but we usaully go for their selection of sushi...they have it all from the americanized "california rolls" to the true hardcore octopus, eel, and fish eggs...oh yummy...

lunchtime i got some chinese food with a friend...we had a real good talk during lunch...it started with dreams, then school, then our daily lives...its amazing what you can learn about someone when you get one on one with them...im thinking of doing this with more of my friends more often...many of us tend to act differently in groups comparedto when you're solo...i suggest to everyone out there reconnect with a friend...you might learn something about that person that you never knew about...

well its dinner time and theres no dinner around...looks like ill be cooking again...i bust out some pork...add salt pepper garlic powder and flour...wham bam...i got some pork chops...while im cooking glenn gives me a call and says no more todais tonight...we'll go tomorrow...it seems theres a party at his house tonight...well randy mark and glenn stop by my pad and we try my pork chops...they all give me the thumbs up...they turned out pretty good...haha "iron chef" ryan strikes again...

now we head to glenns house...ahh yeah more food...i was diggin on some clam chowder and spaghetti with meatballs...man its been forever since i had meatballs...they were so soft and flavorful...now that i think about it spaghetti is pretty plain without them...after a second round of dinner we pop in the movie "usual suspects"...bryan singer the director is the friggin man...one of my favorite actors is in the movie benecio del toro...hes up and coming so yall watch out for him...the movie is amazing...if you havent seen it go out and rent it...

my mom comes in my room and says "ryan do you have school today?"...words i dont want to hear...i know that im already late without even looking at the clock...so i punish myself and look at it anyways...715 ahh fack...class starts in 15 minutes...i get ready grab a bite to eat and im out the door...it takes me at least 20 mins to get to school and about that same amount of time to find parking...so the whole time in my head im calculating how many minutes ill be late...oh and it gets worse...that 20 mins to get to school took about 30...im switching lanes on the freeway to move to the lane thats moving the fastest and just as i merged i have to hit the breaks...it was like the opening scene of the movie "office space"...except i was the poor bastard behind the wheel...

i eventually make it to class and theres about 30 min left in the class...it was almost not even worth to show up...but i have to make a good impression with the teacher...coming in an hour late doesnt help but its better than not showing up at all...after class i head back home and straight back to bed...when i wake up its lunch time which means its almost bio lab as well...i make it back to school with time to spare...when i step into lab it seems that more people are in the class...and then i find out a few more people are getting enrolled...the good news is that a section of lab might open friday mornings...im thinking thats not a bad idea...that way i wouldnt have to come back to school thursday afternoons and then i would have another class on friday...but the way it works out is that ill still be able to get out before noon on fridays...i didnt want another class on friday but a little sacrifice here and there is for the best...

well well it looks like i might be getting contacts soon...im scheduled to have my eye exam this weekend and from there its finding a reasonable price for a pair...man ive had glasses for as long as i can remember...i think ive had glasses since i was in 3rd grade...yup im blind as i bat...you might catch me sometimes screaming when i dont have my glasses on...its cause im using the reflected sound waves to guide me where i should be going...yeah i kind of envy those of you out there with the perfect 20/20...damn you people...sometimes i feel so dependent and restricted by my having to wear glasses...contacts would definitely be a step up...and ive heard and read that hard contacts may reduce the worsening of my eyes...it can actually promote recovery...thats hell of a lot better than getting a new pair of glasses every couple of years...they just get thicker and thicker everytime...

when and where did i go wrong?...i watched as much cartoons and played as much nintendo as the next kid...its gotta be the genes...everyone else in my family has glasses with the exception of my younger sister...*cross fingers* hopefully she will never need them...yeah im planning to get some laser or lasik sugery in the far off future...maybe by that time theyll have like bionic implants that i could get...x-ray vision baby...heheh i could see your underwear...hey it could happen...

well tonight was physics lab...as i looked around there seems to be a lot of empty seats...people droppin like flies...the class im hoping more people to drop is bio lab...ahh but this class is condensing to just a bunch of nerdy goofy guys...im neither nerdy or goofy...its going to be a long semester...the class that i havent fully caught up in is bio...the bad news is that it looks like ill be up all night writing up a lab and then i gotta get up at the crack of dawn...argh...

today was a good day...i had only one class this morning and that was bio...after class i ran some errands and the rest of the day was actually spent on homework...yes i got quite a bit done and i'm almost caught up...oh yeah...its taken me awhile to get back into it but now im ready to get down and dirty...my schedule isnt fine tuned yet so i havent been able to manage my time as best as i can...where does the time go? i dont know...theres gotta be little elves or gnomes messing with all the clocks when our backs are turned...they're just laughing at us from behind the shadows...if i ever get a hold of their little necks...

today is my mom's birthday...i decided to make her dinner so i cooked up a little something...basically it was angel hair pasta with a creamy chicken parmesan sauce...it was pretty good...i even impressed myself...everyone loved it...hmm maybe i should become an "iron chef"...heheh yeah right...i wish i could cook like them...speaking of "iron chef" i love watching the food network...i could literally sit down in front of the tv with my tongue hanging out and just salivate...you know the food that you see, smells and tastes as good as it looks...only if you could sample a little of what they were making...im getting hungry just thinking about it...

"its my duty to please that booty"...hahah i just finished watching "shaft"...that was a pretty damn good movie...i cant get the theme song outta my head..."you damn right"...anyways busta rhymes was all in there too...man hes been in a couple movies already and i think he currently in that movie "finding forrester"...i havent seen forrester but i think busta should stick with the music...cause thats what he needs work on...he hasnt come out with anything powerful in awhile...yo busta where you at?...

school was ehh today...i guess its cause its monday...if your day sucked today, its because it was a monday...i hate mondays...chem was ahrite...but physics was bleh...nothing the professor said made sense to me...its the beginning and im struggling already...i hate physics...never liked the subject even in high school...what gets me though is why i have to take the class...im a bio major and everyone else in that class is engineering or somehow else related...why the hell are they making me take 3 semesters of this...i need help, if you're good in physics help me im begging here...

today went to church and right afterwards i went to buy a headlight bulb for my car...yeah while i was driving home last night i noticed that in front of me only the right side was lit up...it was a bad situation driving around with one eye...its the end of the month and i know for a fact that theres some cops out just itching to pull me over...yeah know "gotta make that quota"...so everyone out there drive a little more cautious than usual...

well it was off to temecula today to spend it with my aunt cause it was her birthday...lots of food cause it was super bowl sunday as well...but i didnt even watch the game...the tv didnt pick it up and i didnt care cause i dont like either team...i wanted the raiders and the vikings to go but oh well...anyways we ended up watching u-571 and an old jackie chan flick...the rest of the time i spent playing this game called "mafia" with all my younger cousins...they're all huge now...everyones growing up *tear*...they might be bigger than me but im still older...heheh...anyways after eating the whole day i got some acid indigestion...so my stomach doesnt feel so good...ahh wheres the pepto?...
