i just had rubio's for lunch, a burrito especial and a fish taco...for some reason, it tasted soo damn good...i dont know if it was like that because i was hungry or what...maybe it was the squeezed lime, yeah it must have been the lime...

at night i went to a cotillion..."whats a cotillion?"...well its a party celebrating a filipina's 18th birthday...i guess its similar to a quinceniera for those of spanish background...anyways i couldnt stay long cause my contacts were buggin'...i had them on for about 12 hours and they felt like they were putting pressure on my eyes...with all the extra pressure it gave me a splitting headache...

"days of phoenix" ..afi..

let me tell you, it was hell trying to sleep last night...i think i was tossing and turning until 4 in the morning...i was going friggin nuts...i flipped my pillow billions of times, i kicked off my sheets, i ripped off all my clothes...and finally my body and mind went into sleep mode...thank you lord...

well my bro busts into my room at 8am saying that he wants to go the gym...i said hell no, leave me alone...yeah i did promise him the night before, but he's not the one who slept at 4...i eventually get up at 10 and start washing the clothes amongst other chores...

after lunch i decided to change my engine oil...yup according to the sticker on my windshield its been 6 months since the last time i changed it...man im abusin' my baby...i have to take better care of my car, its got to last me from now until forever...which is a very long time...

i just finished watching stanley kubrick's "the shining"...man i love that movie...i remember watching it when i was younger and getting freaked out...watching it now i can appreciate not only its horror value, but the acting and cinematography as well...so far ive been satisfied with every stanley kubrick flick ive seen...i have yet to see "eyes wide shut" which ive heard isnt kubrick's best work...maybe i will, maybe i wont watch it...ill let you know if i do...

well im busy catching up with my fellow GBMers and just surfin' around to get sleepy...dont you just hate that, you just cant fall asleep as soon as you lay down on your bed...well for me, eversince i got out of school ive been stuck in this crazy sleep pattern...my mind doesnt get sleepy until about 1 or 2 in the morn...i need HELP, do any of you have suggestions?...

"island in the sun" ..weezer..

"hip, hip"...the new single by weezer is mos definitely one of my summer jams for 2001...it just puts me in a good mood...while speaking of good music, coldplay performed "trouble" last night for any that missed it...watching chris martin play the piano makes me want to play piano again...damn i wish i could play beautiful music like that...

today me and angelo started calling up people, for something weve been planning for this summer...im not gonna give out the details just yet...cause its defintely gonna be something to talk about if and when it goes through...*crossing fingers*...what we got figured out though is that its gonna happen within the next two weeks...ill keep you updated ever-so-often, until the event has happened...

well tonight i went out with an old friend from high school...it was great catching up with her and finding out how things were going on with her life...the reason for the outing, was this business opportunity...i went to check it out, sometimes i get in that curious george mode...well it was very informative, the product and service sounded great...but all this gets me thinking..."is our whole purpose in life to strive for the mighty dollar?"..."is happiness measured by the amount of zeroes in our bank account?"...i sure hope not...i just guess that im easy to please, and i enjoy life's little pleasures...

"in my place" ..coldplay..

COLDPLAY KICKS ASS! i heard coldplay is going to be on tonight with letterman...their album parachutes is just the best...i could listen to it straight through...ive got to see these guys perform live sometime...somebody email me if they're gonna be in socal anytime soon...they'll probably perform at the end, meaning they're going to play only one song...oh well, its better than nothing...ive noticed that letterman gets the better bands than leno or any other late/late late show hosts...

"sick cycle carousel" ..lifehouse..

i went to the del mar fair today and watched lifehouse...the concert lasted about an hour with them playing the majority of their cd...i couldnt understand what the lead guy was saying cause of all the screamin' girls...i need to get me a copy of their album because everyone was going nuts...the encore was "hanging by a moment"...i have to say that they're live performance is pretty darn good...

"days of the week" ..stp..

i replaced the broken drawer handles of my dresser today (heres a short story)...a couple weeks ago i went to open one of my drawers of my dresser and it just broke right off...it didnt happen once but twice...i dont even realize my own strength sometimes...no no, it was just the metal was cheap and it said im not taking this abuse anymore and it broke off...so finally i was able to find some replacements, and now its like brand new...(end of story)

a friend wanted me to fix a cd they had, so i started downloading some music today...it takes me 30 minutes to get one friggin song...yup us po' folk got dial up to deal with...man i wish i had dsl or cable...

"voices" ..disturbed..

this morning my relatives and cousins left for san jose...as soon as they stepped out, it was cleanup the whole morning...the thing with parties and get togethers, i really dont like the cleanup involved afterwards...i feel the same way about cooking, i love to cook but cleanup is a pain...

i watched "pushing tin" today...john cusack, billy bob thorton, angelina jolie...in the movie billy bob and angelina are husband and wife...i guess after acting like they were together made them want to be together in reality...what the hell does she see in that old fart?

a whole mess of us got together and went to keith's tonight...it was good seeing everyone again...ahh it reminds me of the good ole days...after dinner we all went back to jerome's pad to watch "jackass"...what better way to end the evening than with a good dose of "jackass"...
