today i had my UCSD orientation...after 5 hours of general blah blah i was finally able to choose my classes for this coming fall...oh hell yeah! it is OFFICIAL...i am now a UCSD student...feels kinda weird but it hasnt even really hit me yet...

well after orientation i felt so drained of energy...i was supposed to head to the beach to meet up with the other guys but i needed to go home to eat and recuperate...after i felt energized, i went to the beach...jeremy was getting the grill set up, while mark was sleeping under the sun (his arms were all red when he woke up, heheh), jerome and glenn were in the water...i grabbed my boards out of my trunk and to the waves i went...the water was cold and the waves were fair...*mental note: a wetsuit would be nice to have*...

as soon as the sunset hit, the grill was spitting out "dags" and burgers while the pit was getting ready to be lit...food fire friends what a great combination...i was there until midnight but i heard the goodtimes rolled until 3 in the morn...

july 3 - plans for july 4th bonfire at the beach...

july 4 - i slept at 2am only to get up at 330am...had to sneak out of my house, which is more difficult than sneaking in...chris glenn jeremy mark and myself get to the beach at 430am and all the pits are taken...it seems that everyone slept overnight for a pit...we all hang our heads in defeat and decide to go to keith's for breakfast...at breakfast we discuss moving the bonfire to friday and having a bbq at jeremy's instead...the bbq is a success with food fun fireworks and entertainment for all...

july 5 - today i ordered my reading glasses...yeah i got reading glasses, im an old fart now...i played bball with my brother and his friends...cut more firewood with the fellas at randy and chris' house...we bought all our food at vons...and we finished the night off by watching "snatch"...good times...

i practically spent my whole day in front of my computer...i upgraded to windows millenium...surfed a bit...watched "crouching tiger, hidden dragon" on vcd...started messing with flash...the screen has zapped the life out of me...*zapped*

after going to the gym with my bro this morning...i called up mark, jerome, and chris to go to the beach...after rounding up the people and the boogie boards we were off to the beach...we went to del mar and we now all can say the place is just beautiful...i think we spent an hour just driving around the place, just to find parking...*mental note: avoid the beach on the weekends, too many damn people*...but other than that, we had a great time out in the water...the waves werent too bad but the water was still a little nippy...
