ooh waking up this morning was a battle...i woke up at 6, cooked myself some breakfast and then i was out the door by 7...my class for today (ochem) was at 8...but i wanted to beat traffic and get good parking...i was in class by 740 with lots of time to spare...people began to slowly trickle in and by class time it was fully packed...the good news though was that i bumped into a girl i met during my time at mesa community college...we took a couple chem class together and now we have another chem class...heheh i think shes stalking me...nah im just playing...she transferred like myself...and right now im noticing many community college faces on campus...so for those of you out there going the community college route to the big university...i say go for it...if i can do it, so can you...

anyways at night there was a barbecue on campus sponsered by the navigators...good food, good music, lots of people...you cant fail with that combination...i was able to meet lots of new people and play ultimate frisbee for the first time...it was a blast...its a guaranteed good time with the navs...later on we hopped to different peoples apartments and meeting peoples roommates...i could have gone all night long, but getting up at 6 doesnt provide you with so much energy...

my first day at UCSD...i had only one class on campus (which was genetics)...it wasnt a great shock or anything, but i was amazed at the size of the lecture hall and how packed the place was...i would say there were 300+ in that one lecture hall with people in the aisles...i know for a fact this will cut down, and then maybe i can get some elbow room...but then again i wouldnt mind being sandwiched between two fine women...heheh who wouldnt...

i did a little physics today...not as much as i wanted to get done but something nevertheless...the other time was spent gathering a few things for a friend that is going away...

at night i went to chill at jerome and mai's apartment...we were watching tv, talking, eating pizza and hanging out with nellie the last time before shes off to ucla...most of the talk was about school starting tomorrow...i cant wait...im excited and scared at the same time...UCSD here i come!

i dont know what to say...im not sure how to explain it...but all i have to say is that my eyes have been opened...i see a new beginning for myself, not only because of my start at ucsd but things are starting to click into place...right now is a good time for me..."i feel so alive for the very first time"...

today was the big ucsd bio dept. meeting...it was not only very informative but solidified my choice of major (general bio)...

at night i was chillin with the navs...they were planning out this coming quarter...i was able to see a couple new faces amongst the regulars...afterwards we hit up krispy kreme to get a sugar rush and then we went buck wild listening to josie and the pussycats...you just had to be there to comprehend the craziness...
