it's ash wednesday today, the beginning of lent...and also a time to give up something for 40 days...hmm i have nothing to give up...so im gonna gain something...i dont know what yet but ill find something...

i wasnt feeling so well today but after talking to a great friend...she helped put things in perspective for me and i felt better..."for good times and bad times...thats what friends are for..."

i just got my midterms back from ochem and structural today...not a pretty site...i was under the mean both times...i thought i would do well in at least one subject but i just ended up doing equally horrible...oh well, 5 more weeks to survive and not fail...

so how did you spend your monday?...well i spent my day mixing and pouring concrete for my driveway...yeah just when i thought i could get away from doing any work my dad is home...he wakes me up and asks if i have time to do the driveway...i ask him how long will it take and he replies 1 hour...the longest hour ever, it ends up taking the whole afternoon...i cant complain too much though cause now i wont have to waste a weekend working on the driveway...

last night went to hard rock cafe in downtown with the fellas to celebrate glenn's bday...it was a great time...just eating drinking watching tv on $15,000 plasma widescreen tvs...they had 2 or 3 of them on the walls...where do they get the money?...probably the $ 9 burgers...but im not complaining, the tvs are very cool...i would like one myself...does anybody have $15,000 they dont need?...while i was there i saw a few faces that looked familiar...and my face seemed familiar to them because they came up and said hi...kristin from high school and mi amigo jose from mesa college...
