"dope nose" ..weezer..

when i woke up this morning it was 9...i wanted to sleep in but i couldnt get back into a deep sleep...i got out of bed at 10...after a breakfast of some nice fluffy pancakes, i told myself that i wanted to get some thing accomplished today (usually i get all lazy on fridays)...so i started to clean up the kitchen and then my room...as soon as i finished, the lazy bug bit me...BEWARE kiddies...it can creep out of nowhere, but once you're bit theres no way of avoiding its numbing effects...so naturally no homework was done today...i really need to do homework because i have a huge midterm coming up...damn the BUG....

earlier tonight i shot a few rounds of pool with a friend...i whooped his ass, you know who YOU are...then afterwards met up with some other friends and got some boba...

"battlescars" ..ozma..

last night i watched 24...if you havent seen it yet, you are missing the best show on right now...go watch it and im pretty sure you'll get hooked...

i went to 3 more psych experiments today...let me summarize them:

experiment 1: first i was given two cups, one full with water the other empty...then i had to place a 1/4 empty cup into a square...finally i had to answer some questions about making bets...i think these tests were gathering data on value theory and judgment...

experiment 2: first i had to count out 500 sheets of paper...then i had to estimate how long it took me to do that task and how long it would take me to do the same task over...then i was told to count out another 500 sheets...the research was trying to support how people are bad at estimating the time it takes them to do a task...i guess-timated 7mins, when in reality it took me 11mins to count out 500 sheets of paper...

experiment 3: this by far was the most interesting one i have participated in...the experimenter asked (3 of us lab rats) some general questions about our background and interests...right away i noticed that the 2 other people that were with me, were totally opposite from myself by their answers...after the questioning the experimenter left the room and allowed us to get to know each other for 5 min...somehow i made conversation with both of them even though we really had nothing in common...then the experimenter came back in with a questionaire to fill out...the point of the experiment was to gather data of how we judge people in the little time that we interact by using ourselves as a guide...

the grammys are on tonight but i have no time to watch...i recorded them so ill be watching them tomorrow...

"penelope" ..pinback..

ooh i did not want to get up this morning...i was restless as ever last night and i couldnt fall asleep...no matter how many times i tossed and turned i couldnt find a comfortable position...i probably fell asleep around 2am...and in the morning my body was paying for the lack of sleep...thats probably why im still sick, i dont ever get enough rest...hmm ya think?

i went to the psych building this morning to participate in an experiment...the reason im letting myself be a lab rat is for some extra credit in my cognitive psych class...it wasnt too bad, all they had me and a few others do is listen to some recorded speeches and answer some questions...the point of the experiment was to see how people are judged by their style of speech...a note to everyone: when speaking, be articulate and confident...people like that...

"sociopath" ..anya..

sorry ive been MIA for the last few days...well let me give you a quick summary (ive been doing this too often...hopefully it wont become a habit)...

friday: i woke up around noon feeling horrible...my body ached, i had a sore throat, and my nose was dripping...and on top of that, the weather was blazing hot that day...thats got to be the worst, being sick when its around 80 outside...at night i played broomball for the first time...

saturday: was homework day...pages upon pages i read...at night i rented blow...there were so many stars in that movie...johnny depp, penelope cruz, paul reubens (pee-wee), ray liotta and so many others you would recognize from other movies...johnny depp is an amazing actor...

sunday: i just came back with my fam from a sneak preview of mel gibson's latest movie we were soldiers...mel gibson and war movies...first it was braveheart, then the patriot, now we were soldiers, whats next?...a gulf war movie (me and a friend talked about this)...dont get me wrong, mel gibson is a great actor and he does great war movies but he should try to switch up...there are just too many "based on a true story" war movies right now...

sniffle, sniffle
