i bought dashboard tickets today...i went through ticket-bastard and got raped through service fees...oh well, ill suck it up and be happy because now im going to see carrabba live up close and personal...yeah you better get your tickets now before he starts rocking stadiums...well now im on ebay trying to win this sweet san diego padres hat...

sorry for the inconsistent blogging...its been awhile since ive had some "me time"...time to escape and do whatever i want on my own time schedule...a little more each day ive been cleaning up my room...going through my boxes of goodies, just reminiscing of younger days...but now im ready to hang out and kick it with friends, thats what summer is all about...

"last turn for slow dancing" ..goodbye blue monday..

yesterday: me, my sis, and my mom cleaned out the garage a little bit...we were able to go through a couple of our bookshelves and sift through all the junk...we got rid of so much stuff that it filled up my car...it just amazes me how much we can accumulate over the years...we got rid of old textbooks, piano books, papers etc...its so easy to say that we'll just keep a book for reference and that we'll use it in the future, it rarely happens...its more likely to collect dust than to be opened...all this cleaning has made me want to start with my room as well...this will be a long drawn out ordeal, i already know...

today: me and my sis dropped off all the books and stuff at a navy thrift store...we filled 2 shopping carts full and the lady was so happy to see how much we were giving...we had smiles on our faces, happy to get rid of it all..."one person's trash is another person's treasure"...

afterwards we went to the mall to browse and shop...it seemed every store we stepped into had some sort of sale going on...i didnt bring a lot of money so i just bought a couple shirts...just some fresh gear for the summer...when we got home we ate and i went straight to bed...my body was so exhausted that i ended up sleeping for 3 hours...all the work yesterday finally caught up to me...

"better late than never" ..counterfit..

i just got back from LA, again...me, my dad, and sis went up for a picnic (which seemed to take forever when my dad was driving)...when we got to the park we didnt recognize anyone so we went to the information center...at the info center we found out that the picnic is tomorrow (isnt that just a kick in the groin)...yup 2 hours of driving to find out the picnic is not today but tomorrow...well we wanted to make the best of it so we decided to grab some lunch at carl's jr and then go visit some family...the thing though was that our relatives were moving to a new house and we didnt know the address...my dad was familiar with the area so he said lets give it shot...we drove around for a bit, trial and error through the neighborhood until we eventually found the house...we then spent the entire afternoon helping them with repairs and such...ahh it feels good to be able to lend your skills to others especially when family is involved...

for dinner my aunt took us out to this japanese restaurant (you would think i would be sick and tired of japanese food but i wasnt)...all my relatives were suprised that i knew how to use chopsticks and eat an entire meal with them...i ate so much that my hand started to cramp...when it was time to go home, my dad put the keys in my hand...the drive home was quick even with an accident on the freeway that caused a 30min delay...all in all it was a great day spent well, despite being given lemons...
