"po' folk" ..nappy roots..

we all woke up early to make the drive to itchetucknee (i mentioned this place the last summer)...its a 5 mile river / natural spring...you rent rafts and innertubes and just cruise all the way down...it is so chill and relaxing especially in this hot florida weather...when we got back home we hit up cici's, an all you can eat pizza place...all kinds of pizza :hawaiian, sicilian, taco, 3 cheese, spinach, supreme, and even chocolate...

at night we all headed to the movies to watch blue crush...the theater was not full at all and it was a pretty damn corny movie...ryan gives this movie a fat 2 thumbs down...

"grindin" ..clipse..

my afternoon was spent browsing the surf shops along the beach with all my cousins...i didnt buy anything but im sure ill hit them all up before i go to bring home some goodies...

at night i was at my brothers house...me and my sis cooked up some pork chops and green bean casserole for the whole fam to eat...afterwards we all headed to adventure landing (arcade, go karts, batting cages, miniture golf)...we all hit up the go karts and it was only us on the track...we had a blast spinning each other out and colliding into one another...

"hey ma" ..cam'ron..

yesterday: the flight over wasnt too bad...i slept through the first leg of the flight to dallas...when i arrived in dallas i had 10 minutes to board my next flight...the only problem was that my gate was all the way on the other side of the terminal...i ended up power walking the whole way and i got there just in time to board...when i landed in jacksonville i knew my vacation begun when i felt all my stresses and worries release...i was also waiting for the suffocating heat but to my suprise the weather wasnt bad at all...it was quite breezy and the humidity was lower than usual...

i waste no time, my cousin junior took me to the voodoo lounge, a small venue with a bar (front room - live jazz, backroom - hip hop)...the dj in control put out all the hip hop classics...nothing moves a room like hip hop...

today: i woke up at 1pm...yes im off to a great start...sleep by day, up all night...well im going to the driving range to hit me some golf balls...

"x-ray vision" ..lovelight shine..

i just came back from the candelarian reunion up in carson (candelaria is a province in the philippines where my mom came from)...this party was definitely for the older folks but we made the most of it...we could hear the music bumpin' coming from the party next door (the reunion was held at a community center)...so me and my cousins decided to check it out and we ended up partying next door at someones wedding reception...after we were partied out, we jetted home to finish packing...now im off to jacksonville, florida...
