"if you only knew" ..jurassic 5..

i just came back from the the best free concert ever...it was ucsd's fall fest...the performers were: blackalicious, mxpx, and jurassic 5...BLACKALICIOUS put on a great show...i was suprised to see how many people knew them and how well the crowd responded...next was MXPX...their performance was okay, ive seen better from them but they still got the crowd going...and finally it was JURASSIC 5...ive seen them a couple times before, and i have to say hands down this was their
best performance ever...its probably because they performed many new cuts from their newest album power in numbers (if you dont have this record, go out and buy it)...they also did hits from their two previous albums as well...

in about 5 hours ill be off in cerritos to work at one of my houses...el slumlord is back!

"the red" ..chevelle..

after fasting for 12 hours, i guess you could say i was pretty damn hungry (starving actually)...the reason for the fast was that i had blood drawn early in the morning...i wanted to get my cholesterol checked and all that other good stuff...its never to early to look out for yourself...its even more important to do if something runs in your family...

i went to school on my off day to schedule an appointment for a degree check...apparently i needed to make two separate appointements (one with my college, the other with the school of biology)...luckily there were available slots right at that moment...first i went to the school of biology...i found out that i was on track to graduate with a biochemistry/cell bio degree as long as i took a full load every quarter this year...next i went to my college and found out that all my lower division classes were taken care of and that i should file for graduation soon...i couldnt believe it, im graduating this spring...where did the time go?

"hurricane" ..something corporate..

today was okay...i went to IKEA with the fam...its ikea's 4th birthday or something to that effect...we looked around imagining what our house would look like with newer shit...all our furniture is so damn old and dated...i wish we could just come across a large amount of money so we could get rid of all our stuff and start over...yeah it will happen, ryan...i just need to keep telling myself that...i ended up getting some light bulbs and new bedsheets...if you need to start changing your house, start with your own room...
