yesterday: i had dinner with the fam...we were celebrating my sisters 16th birthday...my dad was talking to my little bro about school and then he asked me about school (i knew this was going to happen)...i told him i was passing my classes and that i should be graduating by june...he was bothered that i was just passing my classes rather than being the "ideal" A student...i explained to him that it was difficult and i was getting sick of school...he then suggested that i take fewer classes and take my time...well for one thing that wont help my grades and second it will just prolong the struggle...it was time to be seated so the conversation ended but i knew this was just the start...

tonight: i went to trophy's (bar/restaurant) for a bday party...i had a couple drinks and just chatted with friends...a low-key kind of night...

happy halloween!...the bacteriology midterm went horribly...i know i bombed for sure...damn that multiple choice...all the answers sound good or they add that last option "none of the above"...and this was supposed to be an easy class...

i was looking forward to lab today cause i told people to dress up...everyone agreed they would but only a few of us came through...my costume was cool though...clark kent, hah who'd thunk it?...

that midterm was more than i had expected...our TA gave us a study guide to follow and there were many questions on the test that didnt follow the study guide...i think i bombed it...im so kickin myself in the ass right now...

good news for the day: the new season of 24 started tonight...if you've never heard of this show, where have you been?...you have to check it out, its an intense show and its different from all the other shows out there now...

"dick's automotive" ..the rugburns..

i would have to say that my weekend was darn good (as compared to the past few weekends)...yeah i pretty much was on my own time schedule and there was no one else around to tell me otherwise (my dad and sis were up in cerritos, rick was up in fullerton, and my mom was at work)...i ran a few errands, chilled with some friends, ate some carne asada, shot pool, played "photo hunt", did a little studying, but generally i was just in lazy mode...one of the highlights for this weekend was watching david fincher's movie the game...ive seen all his other movies (seven, fight club, panic room) but not this particular one...it was really good, if you havent seen his movies go out and watch them all...
